EN Think utopia is an architectural photography atelier nestled away among the snowy peaks of the Alps and the mists of Lake Geneva. Fruit of the union between an interior designer Manon Duparc and architect François Pain, who both conceive the image as a dream factory.
In contrast with the standardization that seems to define our time, Think Utopia claims a world of singularity where nothing is granted, but rather everything is suggested. Their philosophy stems from a sheer desire to capture the fleeting moment where evocative details insinuate a sensible whole, thus harnessing the essence of a place into an image.
Based in Geneva & Paris, the atelier captures and immortalizes architecture, design and art throughout the world.
FR Think utopia est un atelier de photographie d’architecture niché entre les sommets enneigés des Alpes et les brumes du lac Léman. Il est l’union d’une architecte d’intérieur Manon Duparc et d’un architecte François Pain, pensant tous deux l’image comme une fabrique de rêves.
À contre-courant de la googlisation du 21ème siècle, son univers est un plaidoyer pour l’imaginaire où l’ensemble n’est pas acquis mais suggéré. Sa philosophie est de capter l’instant où la poésie du réel émane d’une partie d’un tout, figeant ainsi l’alchimie atmosphérique du lieu en une image.
Installé à Genève & Paris, l’atelier capture et immortalise des projets d’architecture, de design et d’art ici et là autour du monde.
